Florida Ride Height Checker is a small, independent planning tool built to answer one question quickly: which rides can a child go on at their current height? It currently covers Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando, SeaWorld Orlando, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, Aquatica Orlando, Adventure Island, LEGOLAND Florida and The Grove Resort’s Surfari Water Park — more than 300 attractions across 17 parks and water parks in total.
Calculations happen entirely in your browser. No account is required, and the height, unit and optional child name you enter are not sent to this site’s server — they’re only ever stored on your own device, as explained on the Privacy Policy page.
How it works
Enter a child’s height once and the checker instantly sorts every attraction at a chosen park — or across all of them — into three groups: rides they can experience now, rides where a supervising companion or eligible driver can bring them along before they reach the full requirement, and rides they’ll need to grow into. Switching between inches and centimetres, or adding an optional name for each child, updates the results immediately with no page reload.
Data and accuracy
Attraction names and height requirements are checked against official park guidance for each resort — the primary minimum height, the point at which a child can ride independently rather than with a supervising companion or driver, and any maximum-height rules at dedicated children’s areas. Exactly which official source was checked for each resort, and when it was last reviewed, is listed on the Data Sources page. Rules can change without notice, attractions close for refurbishment or retirement, and park staff always make the final eligibility decision at the ride itself — this site is a planning aid, not a guarantee of admission.

Florida Ride Height Checker is built and maintained independently by Ryan O’Flaherty. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated on behalf of Disney, Universal, SeaWorld, Busch Gardens, LEGOLAND, The Grove Resort & Water Park, or any other park referenced on this site.
